The Indiana Pacers take the court tonight (this afternoon?) against the Oklahoma City Thunder in their final “regular season” Summer League game. The Pacers put it on the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday to win their first game, but at 1-2, will likely still find themselves outside of the Summer League playoffs.
Yesterday, the Pacers withdrew their qualifying offer from Cassius Stanley, making him an unrestricted free agent. Stanley has played quite well this Summer League, averaging 9.3 PPG on 62.5% shooting, but the Pacers have struggled to open up roster spots in an attempt to shore up their point guard rotation, forcing them to make the decision on Stanley.
