The Indiana Pacers announced Tuesday they have assigned forward Rakeem Christmas to their affiliate in the NBA’s Development League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Christmas was recalled to the Pacers on Friday, Jan. 29. He was active for the past two games, but did not play.
A rookie out of Syracuse, Christmas has appeared in 25 games this year for the Mad Ants. The 6-9 forward has averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game in Fort Wayne. He was named to the D-League All-Star team on Friday.
