Pacers agree to 3-year, $22M deal with Doug McDermott

The Indiana Pacers have reached agreement on a three-year, $22 million deal to become Doug McDermott’s latest landing spot, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

After making stops with the Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder, and New York Knicks, the 26-year-old sharpshooter shot a career-best 49.4 percent from three in 21 games with the Dallas Mavericks last season.

Within Rick Carlisle’s free flowing offense, McDermott found a home not only by sprinting to the three-point line and spotting up for three before the defense could get set but also with his resourceful off-ball movement.
