Stretch-four Omari Johnson will be joining the Pacers for training camp, the team announced Friday along with the official release of their 18-man roster.
Johnson, whose G League rights were acquired by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants from the Memphis Hustle in exchange for the rights to Jarrod Uthoff and Chris Fowler, averaged 16.5 points and 6.4 rebounds in 44 games last season. The 28-year-old forward also shot 41.7 percent from three on 7.4 perimeter attempts, which was the second-highest mark among regular starting G League forwards on comparable volume.
