The Pacers didn’t win the lottery, but they didn’t do too bad either. Kevin Pritchard and company came away with pick number seven. But that doesn’t mean they intend to actually use it either.
A new report from Senior NBA Reporter Jake Fischer at Yahoo Sports suggests that the Pacers are one among many lottery teams that may be interested in trading away their lottery pick for a star player in return. This is what Fischer had to say:
“There are other teams rival executives are already pinning as potential trade candidates […] the Pacers already explored trading for veteran talent before the February trade deadline, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
