NBA fines Paul George for kicking ball into stands

The NBA officially punished Paul George for kicking the ball into the stands and hitting a woman in the face late in the third quarter of the Pacers win over Chicago on Saturday night.

George was fined $15,000 for the careless boot after earning a technical foul and ejection at 1:42 left in the third quarter against the Bulls, by the NBA as announced by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

Following the game, PG explained that he meant to kick the ball against the basket stanchion but missed. He also expected to be fined.
