After suffering a broken nose during the third quarter of Monday’s win over the Hawks, Myles Turner underwent a minor 10-minute procedure yesterday to reset the bone and was an observer at today’s practice as the team prepared for the upcoming five-game road trip that begins Friday night in Chicago.
“He’ll get fitted for a mask today to cover and protect,” Nate McMillan said. “He didn’t practice today. We expect him to go through practice tomorrow, and hope that he’ll be ready on Friday.”
The injury occurred when Turner blocked John Collins at the rim and the two then collided while clambering for the loose ball.
