The NBA announced on Wednesday that Pacers center Myles Turner has been selected to take part in the 2017 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans. The Rising Stars Challenge will take place on Friday, Feb. 17 at 9:00 PM ET at the Smoothie King Center and will be broadcast nationally on TNT.
Turner, a 6-11 center out of Texas, is averaging 15.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game this season. The 20-year-old, selected by the Pacers with the 11th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, is shooting 53.2 percent from the field, 40.
