The Indiana Pacers rookie Myles Turner had his best preseason game so far with 11 points, six rebounds two blocks and one steal against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
Turner was aggressive on defense going for blocks both as the help defender and as the primary defender. The 19-year old from Texas is showing offensive instincts as well when he slips through defenders for easy buckets. We’re already seeing where his shooting range will challenge other centers to come out and guard him.
If Turner is drawing out the opponent’s rim defenders then the lane will open up for the other players on the court and hopefully lead to easier, high percentage shots for the Pacers.
