Myles Turner Named to NBA All-Rookie Second Team

Thanks to a rookie season where Myles Turner averaged 10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game with the Indiana Pacers, he’s found his way onto the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

It’s an incredible honor to be recognized as part of the All-Rookie team,” Turner said on Pacers.com. “It’s great motivation moving forward and I’m excited for the future.”

Turner might have had a chance to make the first team if not for a fracture in his thumb that cost him 20 games. Turner received 28 first team votes.

Turner also had a solid playoff showing in the Pacers as he averaged 10.
