The Los Angeles Lakers season is really just the Kobe Bryant Farewell Tour, but one of the few constants for the team has been former Indiana Pacers center, Roy Hibbert. He had played in all 53 of the Los Angeles Lakers’ game up until an ankle injury kept out of the lineup on Monday.
He tested it during shootaround but ultimately couldn’t suit up for his first visit back to Bankers Life Fieldhouse since being traded last summer.
One problem, though, Roy didn’t have the attire needed for sitting on the bench as dictated by NBA rules.
