The Indiana Pacers’ Myles Turner played for about a minute against the Boston Celtics before he injured his thumb and left the game.
It was first reported he was questionable to return but by halftime he was ruled out for the rest of the game.
Turns out that what was originally diagnosed as a sprained thumb is now reported to be a fractured one.
It is hard to determine if Turner’s contact with Kelly Olynyk had anything to do with the injury, but it is apparent that as soon as he realized he was injured he was in enough pain to call for a trainer immediately.
