Mark's Mailbag: Questions Around the Pacers' Final Stretch

Q. Do you think Myles Turner has the athleticism to adapt to defending the four-spot at the perimeter, especially against stretch fours?

A. This is an important question for the Pacers to answer when they resume play after the All-Star break.

Frank Vogel wants to commit to the bigger lineup, with both Turner and Ian Mahinmi starting, and develop chemistry. That lineup was 3-0 before the loss to Charlotte in the last game before the All-Star break. Turner took advantage of the mismatch at his position at first, scoring the Pacers' first six points, but only finished with 10 points, partly because of a minor hand injury.
