Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out for at least Friday’s game against the Warriors, the team announced, as he goes through the concussion protocol.
In the mid-second quarter against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Brogdon took an inadvertent shot to the forehead from Myles Turner which required stitches. After receiving treatment for the laceration during halftime, he was ruled out for the rest of the game as a result of exhibiting concussion-like symptoms.
The 27-year-old point guard hasn’t had the best of luck with injuries in his first season with the Pacers, previously missing 12 combined games due to back soreness, finger dislocation, a sore hamstring, and strep throat.
