The Indiana Pacers will look up to most of the NBA this season, no matter how many games they win or how far they go in the playoffs.
That’s because the Pacers are collectively the third shortest team in the NBA according to FiveThirtyEight.
FiveThirtyEight also had the Pacers with the shortest group of bigs in the league with their collective height of 322 inches.
It is easy to forget there are no true 7-footers on the Pacers. Myles Turner stands at 6’11” while Al Jefferson checks in at 6’10”. With the other centers and forwards measuring 6’9 or shorter, and seven players measuring 6’6″ or less, it isn’t too surprising Indiana ranks 3rd shortest in the NBA.
