Like most BINGO nights at the The Hearth at Tudor Gardens senior living home in Zionsville, yesterday's featured the sounds of numbers being called, a sizable attendance and prizes. The thing is, this session of the popular game was anything but normal.
For starters, the person in charge of calling the rounds was Pacers forward Lavoy Allen. For the second year in a row, but for the first time at The Hearth at Tudor Gardens, Allen came to spend time and play with senior citizen residents.
"I really enjoyed myself last year with the senior living residents and their families, so I wanted to do it again," Allen said.
