The Pacers continue their quest to figure out how to play well in a new system with new coach and several new players when they host the Lakers on Tuesday.
The familiarity excuse won’t hold up against the Lakers considering they have a young team with a new coach and five new players including starters Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgov.
Hopefully the friendly environment at the Fieldhouse will get the Pacers rolling at both ends of the floor. Playing better defense will lead to better shot opportunities which should lead to more offensive production. That’s the formula Nate McMillan and Paul George espoused on Monday which sounds like a great plan.
