Next on our the ESPN Player Rankings is Joseph Young in 348th place.
The rookie had a strong showing in the Orlando Summer League along with Myles Turner. Young averaged 20.7 points a game and looked comfortable in the point guard position, although his role was more of an attacker that a distributor. As a second round pick the Indiana Pacers don’t have much to lose even if he doesn’t pan out in the NBA but he’s looked solid so far.
Larry Bird expects him to play this season and he may end up as a second-round steal, but right now he needs to work on improving his game so he can end up higher on the ESPN Player Rankings for next season.
