Avon area kids had the opportunity to learn basketball from a former Pacers great and a current Pacers player on day four of the Pacers Summer Hoops Tour, presented by McDonalds and Gatorade.
Pacers great Darnell Hillman took his usual stage in front of a slew of 8- to 14-year-old local kids eager to learn the game. Hillman's approach is two-fold: to make the kids better basketball players, but also more well-rounded people as well, an approach camper Telana Moore appreciated.
"When I heard he was on many NBA teams I was thinking that he was a pretty cool person and that he likes hard work and if you don't act like a player you're going to going to pay the consequences," Moore said.
