The Indiana Pacers have been busy the past few days, trading George Hill yesterday and now they have traded the 20th pick for the Brooklyn Nets’ Thaddeus Young and a future 2nd round pick.
The 27-year-old power forward averaged 15.1 points last season and 9 rebounds last season, and in his NBA career he’s averaged 13.7 points and 5.5 rebounds a game.
The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news earlier today.
With this trade, the Pacers have roughly $12.1 million if they re-sign Ian Mahinmi and roughly $20 million if they let him walk.
Young took a step forward last season with the Nets, upping his season averages by roughly a point and 5 rebounds.
