The Indiana Pacers and Georges Niang agreed to terms, signing the second-round draft pick from Iowa State to a rookie contract.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed according to Pacers.com.
The Pacers must have liked what they saw from the forward in the Orlando Summer League, as he averaged 10.6 points while shooting 51.7% from the field. He also averaged 6.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals a game.
His debut game in the summer league was his most impressive of the five games, as Niang scored 17 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and gave out 5 assists.
