The Good: The starters were resting for the playoffs while we got to see the bench and reserve players get extended run, including Shayne Whittington and Rakeem Christmas. The backups held court against the Bucks starters and while Milwaukee is non-playoff team, there were plenty of solid performances by the Pacers backups.
The Bad: That the Pacers couldn’t have done this sooner.
MVP: Solomon Hill scored a season-high 25 points on 8 of 15 shooting, which included a very Stephen Curry like 7 of 11 performance from beyond the arc. We always knew Solo had the D in 3 and D, but at least in these last few games, he’s been a reliable 3-point shooter.
