The Indiana Pacers aren’t the only team looking for a new head coach.
The Sacramento Kings are also in the market for a new coach and are looking at Pacers assistant Nate McMillian today.
The Indy Star’s Candace Buckner reported the news on Thursday.
On Thursday, Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird announced he was not renewing the contract of head coach Frank Vogel. Though Bird would not give a list of prospective candidates, he offered clues that he had not spoken to McMillan about the position.
“I’ve been around Nate for two years and not one time have I asked him if he wanted to be a head coach again.
