The Indiana Pacers have historically maneuvered without much fireworks in the NBA Draft. Outside of acquiring George Hill for Kawhi Leonard in 2011, and Thaddeus Young for Caris LeVert in 2016, the Blue and Gold usually did what a lot of teams typically do on draft night, which is to stand pat and wait to select a prospect on board.
However, the win-now Pacers, as punctuated by the Rick Carlisle signing, may give Indiana more leeway than ever to strike a move or two on draft night.
