The events of Friday the 13th that left at least 120 dead in Paris will be hard for anyone to forget, but for many of the NBA’s French players it was a tragedy close to home.
Frenchman and Indiana Pacers center Ian Mahinmi suited up and played on Friday night, but he did so with a heavy heart.

There are just over a dozen players currently in the NBA who consider France home, including Joakim Noah and Nicolas Batum, who sought out each other before the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets meeting on Friday night according to NBA.
