Hill Makes Fundamental Difference

It was happening again. The 16-point third quarter lead had unraveled and morphed into a five-point deficit midway through the fourth quarter. The offense had once again grown stagnant, and the defense had given up layups or dunks on four consecutive possessions, followed by a 3-pointer.

But then Solomon Hill started doing those Solomon Hill things.

After playing just 32 seconds in Saturday's loss in Brooklyn, and barely more than 13 minutes combined in the three previous games, Hill rescued the Pacers from what would have been a costly defeat and returned optimism to their quest for a place in the postseason.
