We wrote last week about Pacers center Jordan Hill, who lost his mother to breast cancer when he was just three years old. Since reaching the NBA, Hill has dedicated his time to raising awareness about the disease. He hosted a group of breast cancer survivors at a Pacers game last week and is sponsoring a team in the local Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" on April 16.
As fate would have it, Hill got the chance on Tuesday night to meet a dedicated couple of Pacers fans whose lives have also been touched by breast cancer.
