Halftime Thoughts – Hornets at Pacers 2/26/16

As the Pacers trail 53-50, here are three quick hits from the first half of the Pacers-Hornets game:

1.) CONTAINING KEMBA

A point of emphasis for Pacer coach Frank Vogel before the game was doing a better job on Kemba Walker. It’s still a work in progress. Walker spearheaded Charlotte’s first quarter attack with 8 points and 4 assists. The Pacers were able to hold him scoreless in the second, but he still dished three assists and created free throws for his teammates on two separate occasions.

2.) TRIIIIIIIIIIFECTA! PAUL GEORGE

Paul George had been strong throughout the first half, leading the Pacers with 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting, while filling the box score in his usual ways.
