The Blue & Gold are in South Beach taking on the Miami Heat in the first game of a back-to-back set against last year’s Eastern Conference champions. So far, they’re looking sharp as they take a 68-58 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Coming into the game, Miami was limiting opponents to an NBA-best 44.1 percent shooting from the field. However, after two quarters of play, the Pacers are shooting a scorching 27-of-44 (61.4 percent) from the floor, including 7-of-15 from beyond the arc. Malcolm Brogdon and T.J. McConnell lead the way with 15 and 10 points each.
