Looking to head into the All-Star break on a winning note, the Pacers took a 56-51 lead over the Washington Wizards into halftime on Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Wizards jumped in front early in Wednesday's contest and led 21-14 following Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's 3-pointer with 3:27 remaining in the opening frame. The Pacers stormed back with 10 straight points, taking the lead on Lance Stephenson's three-point play with 1:48 left and then capping the run the next trip down the court, when Tyrese Haliburton made a no-look pass to Oshae Brissett for a two-hand slam in transition.
