Looking to bounce back after falling at home to the Knicks on Saturday night, the Indiana Pacers took a 53-51 lead into halftime on Monday night in New Orleans.
Neither team led by more than six in a tightly contested first quarter. Victor Oladipo led the Pacers with nine points in the frame and the visitors surged ahead in the closing minutes with a 7-0 to help them take a 26-24 lead into the second quarter.
The Pelicans opened the second quarter with an 8-2 run to surge back in front. New Orleans led for much of the frame, but Indiana retook the lead for the remainder of the half on Malcolm Brogdon's 3-pointer 52.
