The Indiana Pacers are very active with developing players in their NBA D-League Affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Georges Niang, who was sent down to Fort Wayne on December 6th, played in three games for the Mad Ants before getting recalled by the Pacers.
Niang averaged 16 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3 assists per a game in his first stint with the Mad Ants. He struggled with his three-point shot, shooting 14.3%. Despite that, Niang managed to shoot 50% overall from the field.
Niang’s best performance came against the Texas Legends on December 10th.
