Last season, the Indiana Pacers were a Walking Dead squad that missed game after game with injury, led by Paul George’s near-season-ending broken leg. But George Hill and David West, among others, also missed a ton of time.
And the injury/illness bug is already hitting hard again this year, with George Hill being the latest to succumb. He didn’t even travel with the team to Chicago for a matchup with the Bulls tonight, per Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star, and is no sure thing to play on Wednesday. Luckily, that game is against Philadelphia’s D-League affiliate, the 76ers, so it won’t be a big deal, presumably, but tonight is looking ugly as Rodney Stuckey also remains sidelined with an ankle sprain.
