Yesterday, George Hill shared some video footage of a commercial shoot on Instagram. It is an ad spot he is doing for the Indiana Members Credit Union, which in addition to using Hill as a pitchman also engages in a charitable partnership that awards one free backpack to a student in need each time Hill hits a foul shot.
This is swell in an altruistic way and it also leads to fun Twitter hashtags like #GeorgeHillHatesBackpackPeople or #GeorgeHillHatesEducation every time he misses a free throw. So, idiots like me have fun on Twitter during boring games against the Pistons and poor kids get cool new backpacks.
