Game Rewind: USA 94, Serbia 91

Apparently that 10-point victory over Australia on Wednesday wasn't the wakeup call the U.S. Olympic basketball team thought it would be.

Team USA escaped its closest call yet Friday with a 94-91 victory over Serbia at Carioca Arena in Rio de Janeiro. The Serbians had an open 3-point shot from Bogdan Bojanovic just before the final buzzer that could have forced overtime, but it bounced off the rim to leave the U.S. with a 4-0 record in the Olympics.

The U.S. team put its perfect record at risk with a stagnant halfcourt offense that relied too much on one-on-one play, and an occasionally negligent defense that failed to prevent the well-oiled Serbians from getting easy shots.
