After exactly two weeks of unemployment, former Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel has signed a deal to take the helm for the Orlando Magic.
According to David Aldridge of NBA.com, Vogel signed a four-year contract for $22 million. This represents a raise of around double the annual salary he was making in Indiana, where his stint came to an end on May 5 when team president Larry Bird held a press conference to announce he had no interest in retaining Vogel’s services any longer.
Vogel exited the Pacers franchise as its all-time winningest coach since the team entered the NBA.
