Fort Wayne Mad Ants Put Grand Rapids Drive In Park

The Mad Ants are now just one game under .500 after beating the Grand Rapids Drive 105-97 in their first game back from the All-Star break.

The victory was powered by C.J. Fair and John Lucas III, who combined for 49 points. Lucus’ 26 points led the way on 9 of 18 shooting (5 of 8 from 3-point range) while Fair had 23 points and 17 rebounds for the Mad Ants.

Fort Wayne picked up the win without the help of two of their Indiana Pacers assignees.

Rakeem Christmas and Shayne Whittington were not available as according to Reggie Haynes of the Fort Wayne Sentinel, the NBA’s collective bargaining agreements made Tuesday a mandatory off day for NBA players.
