The Fort Wayne Mad Ants are struggling, to say the least.
On Friday night, things didn’t get any better as the Canton Charge rallied to beat Fort Wayne 107-96. Their defense was better than it had been in the previous four games as they held the Charge to 43% shooting from the field and 25% from 3-point range, but it wasn’t enough. Funnily enough, the Mad Ants had better shooting percentages (44% and 38%, respectively) but being outrebounded 55 to 43 proved to be one of the deciding factors.
Terran Petteway’s 23 points led the Mad Ants, as he was 8 of 18 from the field, 2 of 4 from deep, and 5 of 6 on free throws.
