Fort Wayne Mad Ants Drop Two Games Over The Weekend, Eliminated From Playoff Contention

With their loss on Friday to the Delaware 87ers, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants were officially eliminated from playoff contention this year in the NBA Development League. This comes two seasons after winning the NBA Development league championship and one season after going to the finals and falling to the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Against Delaware, the Mad Ants struggled to keep up with the 87ers barrage of 3-pointers on Friday as they kept a steady lead on Fort Wayne. Delaware won the game 116-98.

C.J. Fair led the Mad Ants with 25 points while Indiana Pacers assignee Rakeem Christmas had 16 points and 6 rebounds.
