The Mad Ants haven’t seen the winning side of a game in over two weeks as the Iowa Energy added to Fort Wayne’s misery with a 108-105 victory on Thursday.
C.J. Fair led the Mad Ants with 25 points and leveled the game at 105-105 only 1.5 seconds left, but the Energy’s Ramon Harris delivered the winning shot on a buzzer beater for Iowa.
Both Indiana Pacers assignees had double-doubles with Rakeem Christmas posting 10 points and 11 rebounds while Shayne Whittington had 13 and 11.
It won’t be making the Mad Ants feel any better that they’ll end up being on the wrong end of Thursday’s edition of Sportscenter’s Top 10 Plays as Harris and DJ Stephens teamed up for the best alley-oop dunk in the NBA Development League — and maybe the NBA — this season.
