Final Power Rankings Have the Indiana Pacers in the Middle of the Pack

The Pacers have slightly exceeded the expectations many had for them this season by making the playoffs, but Indiana isn’t going to be satisfied with that. The playoffs are on their way and the last batch of power rankings are here.

Indiana had a net change of 1.6 spots this week to end the regular season with an average of 13.2 in the power rankings.

It’s amazing how the Pacers set out to change their identity this season and ended up, statistically, the same team (bad offense, great defense) that they’ve been the last few years. They got handled by Norman Powell and the All-Star-less Raptors (their likely first round opponent) on Friday, but the first three meetings were competitive.
