Fever legend Tamika Catchings set for Hall of Fame enshrinement

Tamika Catchings was born in New Jersey, finished her high school career in Texas and played college ball at Tennessee before heading to Indiana where her hoops exploits for the Fever have now landed her in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Even better, she is truly a local legend, having remained in Indy after retirement to continue making a big impact on, not only the Fever franchise, but the local community, as well.

But that local impact didn’t earn her the call to the Hall. Nope, that would be the 10 WNBA All-Star appearances, the 12- time All-WNBA selection ( including 7 first team selections), the 2011 WNBA MVP, four Olympic gold medals and last but not least the 2012 WNBA championship she helped guide the Fever to while being named the WNBA Finals MVP.
