Indiana Pacers fans have endeared themselves to newcomer Monta Ellis because of his excellent play so far this season, and now they have another reason to adore the veteran shooting guard. At the E. 10th St. Kroger, Ellis, his family and his ME8 Foundation handed out turkeys to 300 families in need this Thanksgiving.
"Around this time of the year, my foundation always comes together to feed as many families as possible and give back as much as we can," Ellis said. "Sometimes around the holidays it can be tough for families. We just want to put a smile on people's faces.
