Domantas Sabonis earns first Eastern Conference Player of the Week

The first Players of the Week awards for each conference were announced on Monday and Domantas Sabonis was given the nod in the Eastern Conference and he certainly earned the honor.

Sabonis averaged 24.3 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists while helping push the Pacers to a 3-0 start. Those numbers included a career-high 32 points in the opener against the Knicks, a tasty triple-double in the Bulls blowout and a sweet game-winner to hold off the Celtics for the third win.

The 3-0 record is the only thing perfect about the Pacers right now as they continue developing as a team under Nate Bjorkgren.
