The Indiana Pacers get a much-needed week off during the 2016 NBA All-Star break, but before long they’ll be back to the grind in an effort to lock up an Eastern Conference playoff spot. That was wishful thinking just a year ago, but with star forward Paul George back to playing at an elite level and rookie big man Myles Turner giving Indiana a two-way presence down low, a 28-25 Pacers club could conceivably make some noise in the NBA’s second half.
Pacers fans, at the very worst, have hopes of a return trip to the NBA post-season and at best just might get a mild playoff run.
