Turnovers proved to be costly to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants as they fell 110-100 to a streaking Canton Charge team.
The Mad Ants knew exactly what went wrong according to the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette’s Justin A. Cohn.
“We had 17 turnovers, and they scored 24 points off our turnovers. That’s why we lost the game,” Mad Ants coach Steve Gansey said. “We’d throw it down inside a little bit too much and then we wouldn’t score inside.”
It was John Lucas III that led the way in scoring with 24 points on 10 of 15 shooting as well a 7 rebounds and assists each.
