According to a report from The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Milwaukee Bucks have asked the Indiana Pacers for permission to interview Pete Dinwiddie, the VP of basketball operations, as well as a handful of other candidates for the position of general manager.
Dinwiddie, who has been affiliated with the Pacers in some form since 2006, has been floated as a GM candidate before. In 2014, he was a finalist to be the GM of the Memphis Grizzlies, but declined further consideration. Dinwiddie has a great reputation among NBA front office executives. In February, he was named to the annual “Forty under 40” list of the Indiana Business Journal, per Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports.
