Can the Indiana Pacers win the title this season? Al Jefferson thinks they can.
Jefferson was hosting the Eighth Annual Al Jefferson Youth Basketball Camp in Prentiss, Mississippi when he spoke with WJTV about why he signed with the Pacers.
“They traded for Jeff Teague, who I’m a fan of, and they already have got one of the top players in the game in Paul George,” Jefferson said. “Monta Ellis, who me and him, of course, from the same state, and knew each other for a long time.”
“It was a well put together team, and I feel like with what they are trying to do, adding me with it, I think will be a great chance for me getting closer to my goal, which is winning an NBA championship.
