The first domino to the Pacers’ free agency fell Monday afternoon when Kevin Pritchard declined Lance Stephenson’s $4.3 million team option.
Pritchard said the decision was tough but ultimately the Pacers are one of only two playoff teams that can have real cap space, putting them in a good position to get two or three rotation players. The Pacers have seven more decisions that can affect their salary cap.
