Indiana Pacers star Paul George has just broken his leg during the USA Basketball Showcase in Las Vegas, per multiple sources attending the event.
According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com, George was injured at the tail end of a fast break:
George got his leg caught on the basket standard at the end of a fast break. Players really upset.

Per Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops, George was attempting to block a shot in transition when the horrible accident occured:
Was a gruesome injury. Paul George's leg broke against the base of the basket. He went up to try to block a shot. @Paul_George24 — Chris Sheridan (@sheridanhoops) August 2, 2014
As you might expect with all the fans and players at the event shaken and attending to George, the game was canceled:
Rest of the game is cancelled. No way any of these guys could play after that

USA Basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski had this to say once George was stabilized and ready for medical transport:

As reported by Shelburne, George has been taken to the Hospital For Special Surgery in Las Vegas. He is currently being accompanied by Coach K's family and Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard.
As of this time, no roster decisions will be made out of respect to George, per director of USA Basketball Jerry Colangelo.
